GMU MASE Competition!!! :) + The most eeriely-good week :D

Hello, my lovely readers :)
Well, If you've seen the title, not much to explain here
BUT, there is the EXPERIENCE
That needs explanation

Well, to put it in one word, AMAZING!!!
SUPERMEGACRAZYAWESOME!!! [Shades of AVPM ;)]

It. Was. So. Amazing.
Anyone who was there, high-five!!!

Reasons it was amazing:

• I COULD BRING MY PHONE TO SCHOOL!!!
• I WAS WITH MY BEST FRIENDS (Who are twins)
• I MISSED TWO DAYS WORTH OF BORING CLASSES!!!---  Okay, some people (like my parents) might be "Why is she so excited? She missed two whole days of 10TH GRADE STUDIES! She should be worried or anxious!" My answer: Yes, I missed two days, but turns out, nothing much was done except for maths (Oh shoot...) and social studies (might have a little trouble, but its okay). And I'm not the only one, there were 6 girls from my class (including me) who missed it, so I'm not the ONLY one....
• I HAD SO MUCH FUN LOOKING AT OTHER EXHIBITS!!! --- Some were A-MAZ-ING! There was 'Dancing Flames' [Won best project], Parkinson's Disease, and so much more...And it was really nice because you got to learn new stuff :)
• ANATOMY!!! --- It was very informative :) The had kept ACTUAL BODIES for this, which was creepy... Some girls even went and touched parts of it *shudders* BLAGH :(
• WE COULD EXPLORE!!! --- It was at a medical university, which obviously had medical equipment here and there (though it was pushed away to give space for exhibits)...On the upper floor, there were dummies which scared me to death O_O
• WE MET OTHER PEOPLE AND TALKED TO THEM ABOUT THE EXHIBIT!!! --- From an all-girls school which doesn't hold these kind of things often, it was scary, but fun talking to others about our exhibits :) There were other people who had already gone though school and were interacting with everyone
• MY PARENTS CAME!!! --- I was so shocked I actually went under the table! My dad, being himself, didn't ask me any questions, but asked everyone else questions like "Where can you buy this?" etc., etc.

Reasons why it was NOT that amazing:

• NO CHAIRS!!! --- Each group I guess, were allotted chairs, but ours broke, so we had to borrow from others and we were standing most of the time...MY FEET STILL HURT :( .... EVEN DURING THE PRIZE DISTIBUTION! We were standing...on the 21st, 10am to 4:30 pm (6 and a half hours!) and on the 22nd, 10am to 6pm (8 hours!)

That's it, I guess....apart from me having an eerily good week...

LAST THURSDAY:

A girl from my bus (who we all hate) BURNT with a fire of a thousand suns >:) ...
Earlier in the week, we asked her to make space for another small girl, but nope, she went "I don't have space"
SHE WAS IN 7TH!!!
 SHE SAT WITH HER SMALLER SISTER!!!
THE SEAT CAN HOLD 3!!!
SHE WENT AND COMPLAINED TO THE TEACHERS (WITH TEARS) BUT LOST  >:D
And it reached to a point where a supervisor (of buses) had to step in and she tried the above method, but lost....When she asked "How come the ones in the back get to sit in 2s?" (We sit in twos because 3 can't fit) Supervisor: "THEY ARE BIG! THEY CANT FIT!'
Oh and at this point I have to insert a small note: My friend (who is the bus monitor) went and fought and with her, another one of our friends came and used the f-word out of anger....continuing the fight:
Girl: The bus monitor used a bad word
Su. : (To the rest of the bus) Did she use a bad word?
Everyone: No!
Su. : Then who did?
Everyone: (Points to friend who did)
Friend: (Under her breath) Oopsie
Su.: Apologise
Friend: Sorry
(Su. and Girl resumes fight)
AND SHE LOST!!!
WE WERE LITERALLY DANCING AND CELEBRATING!!!

On the same day, most of the teachers were unavailable because we had English Week and we didn't even TOUCH our pens :)


And I don't know why, but the rest of the week was lucky for me!!! :D

Also... I have now infected Vika (my AWESOME cousin) with POTTERHEADEDNESS!!!!
Incidents to prove my above statements:
- She sang 'The Mysterious Ticking Noise' at HER TUTION!!!!!
- She wrote a short story which goes as follows (incomplete):

"There ones [once] lived three boys named Ken, Ben and Sen. They had a friend named Haary [Harry] Potter he had something on his forehaed [forehead] like this ϟ."

[Followed by a picture of Hermione, Harry, and Ron... She couldn't spell 'Hermione' so she asked me to spell it (Our parents are Muggles... They don't know either)... That's when I saw it and wrote this]

November:
- I turned 14!!!!! :)

- I had the most AMAZING CLASS PARTY EVER!!!!!!!
We were allowed a COLOURED DRESS CLASS PARTY ON THE 14TH OF NOVEMBER!!!
I had such a good time, I wanna do it again :(
WE HUNG STREAMERS FROM THE FANS, for one thing....
WE HAD AMAZING MUSIC,  all thanks to an AMAZING classmate [names are not allowed on the blog, so I'll just put Za ;).My classmates will know who she is...]
And we danced so much that my leg started to hurt in the end... I danced that much
My group leader is so lucky though...It was her birthday on the 14th...SHE GOT A COLOURED DRESS PARTY!!!
BUT IT WAS AMAZING!!!

December:

Mom and Dad (grudgingly) agreed and I GOT A WINDOWS 8 ACER LAPTOP[on which I'm currently typing]!!! Then the (insert word needed here) teacher CANCELLED THE BYOD........ >:(

♪ My extremly (insert insulting word here) school banned colour dresses for birthdays....To top it off, they said we had to study on children's day....but if we PAY, they'll give us something like a small gift.....Last time, it was a small Angry Birds' notebook.....
♪ Eid Holidays - My dear dad and Deepu went out, so it was a girls-only vacation....Three words: A-MAZ-ING....We had a TON of fun....

I don't think anything else happened apart from this....
But then again, I have a HORRIBLE memory :P

Okay, I know its been a super long time, but I can't help it. We HAD to travel A-LOT.
But all that traveling was fun, exhausting, happy, long, etc....(You got the picture - YAY + WHEW)
What happened since the last post;

JUNE:
☼ We went to BANGALORE! My mother's family friend lives there and he invited us to stay with him (We were planning on a hotel, but he wanted us to stay in his house). He has a daughter who is a year younger than Vika...We had early come in the morning, so she hadn't left yet. My dad, who thinks he's a "Whiz" with kids asked if she remembered us, when she said she couldn't remember, my dad used my burn as a reminder (she was there with her cousin) and she DID remember.

The Visit List:

- Nandi Hill

- Lal Bagh Bonatical Garden

- Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum

- Bannerghatta National Park (SAFARI)

- Butterfly Park

- M.G. Road

- Brigade Road

☼  Two days break and then to Kottayam where we got on a HOUSEBOAT! It was amazing...First, they let us steer the ship for sometime (We took photos), and for lunch, the got us FRESH FRIED FISH - YUM! Gosh, just remembering that makes my mouth water... :P
We also went to Alappuzha [Al-ah-purr(like a cat)-ah] when Dad was busy with his site visit.

JULY:
☼ Then we went to Guruvayoor (A temple) and my cousin's (she is actually my aunt) house in Palakkad

☼ We had to visit our relatives. Once my cousin came along and my dad ("Generously") taught him a 'Visiting-Relatives' class - The end result was that we got invited to have some yummy biriyani from my father's-father's-brother's house while my father's-father's-brother's-daughter and her kids came there.

☼ And my mom's family friend (We stayed in his brother's house in Bangalore - scroll up) had a baby girl on the 30th - My first time seeing a almost-one-day-old baby. KAWAII (CUTE)!!!!

AUGUST:
☼ We found out that there was a wedding happening RIGHT after we leave...The worst part - I haven't seen much of my cousins this year and ALL of them are coming (except for the expats)

☼ Shuttling between my father's-sister's house and my mother's mother's house.

☼ Coming back - and finding out the Holiday Homework :(
